Microsoft Teams alerts
Get a message in a Teams channel when a test run fails, and when it passes again — the same alerts Slack gets, delivered through a channel webhook you create yourself.
Microsoft retired the old "Incoming Webhook" connector; channels now get a webhook from the Workflows app instead, so that's what Bugmole uses.
Connect a channel
- In the Teams channel, add the Workflows app (search for it in the + menu at the top of the channel).
- Create a flow from the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template, and finish its setup.
- Copy the URL the workflow gives you.
- In Bugmole, open Manage → Alerts, Slack & Teams, paste the URL under Microsoft Teams, and connect.
Bugmole sends a confirmation message right away to prove the webhook works before saving it.
What gets posted
By default, a connected channel hears about:
- a run failing;
- a previously-failing plan passing again.
Open Manage → Alerts, Slack & Teams to add alerts for usage and spending limits, or to send them by email instead — email works on every plan, while Teams is available on Team and above.
Messages arrive from the Workflows app's own identity ("Flow bot"), which is how Microsoft's replacement for Incoming Webhooks always posts.
Disconnect
Remove the connection from Manage → Alerts, Slack & Teams, or delete the workflow on the Teams side — either stops further messages. If the workflow is deleted first, Bugmole notices on the next alert and marks the connection disconnected rather than retrying indefinitely.
